At Purdue, we live to keep pushing, to keep going. That’s why the education we offer at the Krannert School of Management provides students with a competitive edge that few institutions can match.
As a school that operates at one of the best STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) universities in the world, Krannert has a unique culture. We take an analytical approach to best business practices. We bring innovation to how we manage projects and solve problems. We won’t stop until we’ve caused something to more efficiently, more elegantly, more accessibly answer some of the world’s toughest business challenges. The Krannert School of Management is home to our 7 business majors: Accounting, Economics, Finance, General Management, Integrated Business and Engineering, Marketing and Supply Chain, Information and Analytics. Each major gives students opportunities to study business fundamentals with an emphasis on data analytics. Hear more about each major from our students.
Our newest major, Integrated Business and Engineering, is offered through a partnership with Purdue’s prestigious College of Engineering. IBE students will take challenging coursework in both business and engineering during their four years. In addition to core courses, the IBE major has 3 specialty areas: Financial Engineering, Data Analytics, and Supply Chain Operations Management.
The best learning happens when students step outside of the classroom. Undergraduate students at Krannert have opportunities to participate in internships, case competitions, learning communities, and Krannert clubs to expand upon concepts learned in their courses. All of these extra-curricular activities allow students to network with corporate executives starting as early as their first year. It’s these relationships that open the door to future job opportunities when the time comes to search.
